  The Otepää plywood factory is one of the largest and most successful companies in the county and an important employer. The company consistently contributes to the efficiency of production and environmental care, supports local life and events.

• Small Business of the Year - Rahel-Puit OÜ
  The company, which has been in business for almost 30 years, manufactures wooden poles for communication and power lines. Significant investments have helped to increase production efficiency and improve the quality of the products.

• Service Company of the Year - Helme Pansionaat AS
  In 2023, the Helme Boarding House will have become the flagship of care facilities in Valga County. The company has seen a strong increase in the number of clients and staff, life has been breathed into a building that has stood empty for years, and the complex that was previously in use is being renovated.

  The woodcarvings made by "The Wood Wizard" Andres Rattasepa are atmospheric, dynamic and alive. In the Valga municipality, fun wooden benches at the Valga-Mõniste roadside bus stops delight passengers and passers-by.

• Innovator of the Year - Shroomwell OÜ
  Shroomwell has renewed its brand and opened the largest indoor mushroom farm in the Nordic countries in Tõrva. In cooperation with research and development institutions, new cutting-edge functional food solutions are being launched. The Mushroom Development and Competence Centre in Tallinn monitors the development of mushrooms in forests and soils and looks for new applications for mushrooms.

  The company has made a significant investment in the restoration of Pokard Manor. Today, a stylish, luxurious and cosy spa hotel awaits its guests. 
• SPECIAL PRIZE "Ambitious venture" - G-7 OÜ
  Holdre Castle has become a tourist attraction, offering a great musical and cultural experience. The Estonian National Piano Museum in the castle exhibits pianos that belonged to some of Estonia's most famous people.
• SPECIAL PRIZE "Best Entertainment Distributor" - Monster Music OÜ
  The annual music festivals, the Pühajärve Midsummer Festival and Retrobest, have brought together music lovers from Estonia and around the world, and revitalised the region throughout South Estonia.

• Large Company of the Year - Aclima OÜ 
  For 23 years, the Valga-based clothing company has been producing functional sports underwear made of merino wool under the brand name. Aclima, including laundry products for the armed forces and special services. In 2022, significant investments have been made in a new building and production equipment, which will contribute to more efficient production.
• Small Business of the Year - Sanlind OÜ
  The company has been a well known poultry and egg producer in the region since 1994. It has overcome difficulties and has invested significantly in the working environment and automation of production.

• Service Company of the Year - Singularis OÜ
  The Tartu-Otepää roadside shop in Nõun offers locally made pastries, culinary products, as well as local farm produce. The owners of the beloved village shop are friendly and active keepers of the village shop.

• Starter of the Year - Tõrva VM OÜ
  Tõrva Veemõnula is one of the most modern aquatic centres in the middle of beautiful nature. This year, hotel rooms were completed on the second floor of the building, accommodating students from the school next door as well as clients of the water centre.

• Promoter entrepreneurship - Tõrva municipality
  Award for the creation of a new investment: Tõrva Veemõnula is a state-of-the-art water centre in the middle of beautiful nature, completed in 2022.
  There were 2 nominations in the category Promoter Entrepreneurship: Sangaste Mesi OÜ, Tõrva Municipality.
• SPECIAL PRIZE "Ambitious endeavour" - Ski Resorts AS
  The Munaka Resto restaurant at the Väike-Munamäe ski resort was opened last year when the old building at the foot of the ski hill was renovated. Munaka Resto is a cosy and cosy place to eat.
• SPECIAL PRIZE ""Worthy Masters" - Teras/Press OÜ
  The company offers plumbing, heating and air conditioning installation services. The recognition of the customers goes to the world's best masters - Aiko and Ever Patlepa and their team, the work is always done quickly and properly.
