Valga municipality invites you to join its team for a fixed-term contract in the social work service to contribute to the. the Youth Guarantee Support System (NGTS) implementation in Valga municipality.
Your role is..
..as a youth wellbeing specialist, be a key player in connecting young people, families and service providers, providing comprehensive support and developing cross-sectoral cooperation.
Your main tasks will be:
- Implementation of NGTS case management and cross-sectoral cooperation models;
- Assessing the needs of children and young people;
- Counselling young people and families, referring them to services and engaging support providers;
- Cooperation with education, youth, social, medical and employment services;
- Planning and implementing prevention and information activities;
- Organising information days and training;
- Documentation of results in the Social Services Register (STAR);
- Improving the network case management model.
We expect you to:
- Higher education (may be in progress);
- Years of experience working with young people;
- Knowledge of social and labour legislation;
- Computer literacy at the level of a standard user;
- Knowledge of youth communication channels;
- Fluency in Russian at communication level;
- Good communication and listening skills, empathy and a sense of duty;
- Compliance with the applicable requirements for the processing of personal data.
We offer you:
- Working environment in the Social Work Service building, Kungla 12, Valga;
- Flexible working hours and the possibility to work part-time in a home office;
- Shortened working day from Friday;
- Salary EUR 850 per month (gross);
- Training and development opportunities;
- If necessary, the employer can rent accommodation.
